Quaker Butter Salmon

For a high omega-3 diet, the Quaker Oats sauced Salmon is an imperative addition to a meal.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Quaker Quick Cook oats
  • 1 piece medium-sized salmon fish fillet
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Black pepper
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons fresh milk
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Garnishing

  • Lettuce
  • Spring onions

Directions:

  • Marinate salmon with black pepper & pinch of salt.
  • Melt 1-tablespoon butter in saucepan and fry salmon briefly for 4-5 minutes.
  • Dish out & set aside on a plate.
  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in saucepan.
  • Add oats, water, fresh milk, egg, mayonnaise & salt into saucepan. If wished, stir in chopped parsley.
  • Mix well and stir until cook.
  • Pour sauce over the fried salmon and serve immediately.
